The plantation harvest is initially dried and then sieved to separate the wood from the leaf. The leaf is then bagged and transported for storage at Alkaloids of Australia's nearby processing facility.

The raw material is stored to ensure the maximum viability of its pharmacologically active ingredient - scopolamine (hyoscine).

The supply of Duboisia leaf from the company's own plantations, ensures a continuing source of quality product.
